If I had a nickel for every time I put a Spongebob reference into my Powerpuff fanart so far as of this journal's posting, I'd have 19 nickels! I'd also have another 6 nickels if I add in Simpsons references! If I didn't miss any, then that makes a total of 25 nickels, or $1.25. It isn't a lot, but it's still weird that's happened enough to get me over a dollar, right? Only time will tell how much more bank I'll be making!

According to Mistgod, the internet has now become a magnet for emotionally screwed up, mentally ill and socially incompetent or inept people at best and a den of future terrorists or tyrants at worst. Many of those people can't interact effectively in real life, and are probably extremely lonely, so they use the anonymity of the internet to communicate with other humans with predictably bad results. Even worse, the internet is addictive, so they keep coming back for more fails and more abuse. These types of people are often obsessed and fixated on certain topics. Trolls call them lolcows. Cyber bullies love to taunt and humiliate them. Few have any empathy or sympathy for them. It's very, VERY brutal. And they even think that the people they bullied to madness and insanity (and their victims may even include this writer) should have no place in their dream professions at all! Also, I am very certain that there are people who have taken their lives because of social media.

I take it back. Do not steal/repost my art outside of dA. It feels so wrong, and when people repost your art and said repost gets more likes than the original artwork, that's very degrading and hurtful. Not just to me, but artists who ALSO work just as hard. Some, even harder than I could ever put out. Now, don't get me wrong, I could care less about the fame or how many faves/comments my artwork gets. In fact, I just draw for fun! But imagine this- you have written what is considered to be meaningful and special to YOU and others around you on a piece of paper; however, when you put it on- let's say, a school corkboard, there's that one person who loved what you've written so much, they take it with them and pin it on their wall. THEN, they take it with them, and scribble their name on the paper, and suddenly, all your hard work is no longer recognized, and everybody loves the re-poster's paper more than they did yours. It's a shitty fucking feeling, so put yourself in other peoples'
